Each year, like many bloggers, I put together a gift guide. The top items I’ve discovered over the year that have made cruising and travel easier, more fun, more stylish, etc. This year, I really tried to narrow it down to about a dozen items that were fun and unique.
I’ve made the Top Gifts for “First Time Cruisers” lists and various gift guides throughout the years. I’ll link those for you below, as all of those items are still entirely relevant. But, for this list, I wanted to find some outliers, some genuinely new and unique gifts that have added to my cruising experience this year. I also tried to make them budget and stocking-stuffer-friendly, because don’t we all need that right now?

For the jewelry minimalist
I regularly see these giant jewelry cases for travel. They take up so much space, and honestly, I’m a bit of a “plain Jane” when it comes to jewelry. I travel with minimal jewelry, and I love how compact this organizer is while still being highly functional. I love the “pack flat” aspect of this jewelry organizer. How smart! Airplane Pockets
I didn’t think that I would love this as much as I do. I originally purchased it for a long overseas flight, and it really came in handy. Now, I use it on ALL of my flights. It’s the first thing out of my bag as I get settled into my seat. I’m organized and completely set for my flight.

Floating Phone Case
This new find comes courtesy of my sister-in-law, who brought hers out to our pool this summer. I tried this out on our recent cruise, and it worked great. I was able to take quality pictures with the case on and felt secure having my phone, key card, and credit card with me while enjoying the pool/ocean. It also kept my phone from overheating in the hot Caribbean sun. I ordered the XL for my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Pool/Ocean Float and Pump
This was such a hit on our last trip. We’ve packed a pool floatie before, but I hate having to blow it up. Adding the mini pump was a game-changer. You can even help a cruise buddy with theirs. It’s so easy to pack and perfect for that resort pool or in the ocean at your favorite beach. Pair the float set with the rechargeable mini pump, and you have a great gift!

Beach Bag
Can a beach bag be lightweight, easy to pack, the perfect size, AND have a zipper closure? YES! I have ordered so many beach bags in the past and came up short. It was either gigantic or didn’t have a full zip closure. This one hit the mark!

Men’s Caribbean Shirt
I was a little worried when I ordered this shirt for my husband because it was such a BARGAIN. However, it was great. It’s super soft and extremely lightweight – perfect for that Caribbean cruise or Hawaiian vacation. It also dries so quickly that it could easily be worn to the beach or pool as a bit of sun protection. Just give it a quick wash and it’s perfect for dinner.
I ordered this one for Brian for our trip to Hawaii next year, but he tried it out on our most recent cruise and really liked it!

Catch-All Bag
I am a big fan of having a pack flat tote bag for a cruise. It can be used in so many ways. It can be used as a shopping bag while in port (or for the cruise shops), and it’s great for carrying a few items with you around the ship. I personally use it when I need to find a great spot to work on my laptop for a bit, or to take a few items to the pool deck.

Ok, this is just genius. You receive four containers for an incredible price. They are lightweight, compact, and so easy to use. I actually held off on ordering these for a while because I assumed they would be hard to use or leak, and I was very wrong. I am very impressed with these little gems, especially for the price. No more purchasing over-priced travel sizes or those little roll-on perfumes for me! Now I can bring my favorite perfume from home.
Small Fan with Magnets!
In another post, I mentioned really loving this fan, and I do! It’s great. I like that it’s so compact, I can keep it in my backpack and even use it on the plane in a pinch. But this one with strong magnets on the bottom is a cruiser’s dream!
